건축학부는 건축학전공과 건축공학전공으로 구성되어 있고 1학년은 공통과정으로 운영되며. 학생들은 2학년 진학 시에 본인의 적성과 진로방향에 따라서 전공을 선택하게 된다. 건축학전공은 창조적 실무지향형 건축사 양성을 목표로, 국제적 건축학교육 인증기준에 따른 5년제 교과과정을 운영하고 있으며, 건축공학전공은 실무형 엔지니어양성을 목표로 국제공학인증 기준을 준비하는 4년제 교과과정을 운영하고 있다.

건축학전공은 디자인, 예술, 인문사회, 계획, 환경, 경영 등의 다양한 분야를 섭렵함으로써 실무지향적 건축설계능력을 배양하는 전공이고, 건축공학전공은 구조, 시공, 설비 등의 건축기술적인 요소들을 다루는 기능적이고 실용적인 전공이다.

건축학부는 국제적 건축교육에서 지양하는 교육프로그램과 시설, 기자재 및 교수진을 충분히 갖춤으로써 창의적이고 실무지향적 인재 육성을 위한 준비가 마련되어 있다.

Architecture, starting with the history of humankind, is a creation of living environment, which is one of the essential requirements of human life known as to clothing, food, and shelter, and is indispensable field for prosperous living.

Division of Architecture is composed of Architecture major and Architectural Engineering major. Freshman year has a common educational program and in the sophomore year students will choose the major of the two according to their aptitudes and advances.

Department of Architecture with a view to fostering creative practice-oriented architects is operating five-year educational program with paralleled to the global standard of accredited architecture programs, and Department of Architectural Engineering aiming at producing practically disciplined engineers has four-year educational program driven for ABEEK Certification known as the international engineering education standard. Department of Architecture covers the variety of programs such as design, arts, planning, humanities, sociology, environment, and management helping in enhancing practice familiarity, and Department of Architectural Engineering focuses on structure, construction and mechanics & electrics of the buildings nurturing functional and practical engineers.

Division of Architecture is equipped with the appropriate programs, facilities, computers, mechanic supplies and faculty to meet the global architectural education requirements and is well-prepared to produce both creative and practical talents.
